About The Position

The Solutions Product Marketing Manager supports our software and hardware growth initiatives, has a keen understanding of customers’ needs, and can deliver proven results based on company initiatives. The Solutions Product Marketing Manager role will guide various divisions within Konica Minolta, charged with a product line contribution. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing products to working closely with the Product Management team to review new product / partnership opportunities for the organization.

Requirements

  • Excellent understanding of print industry and software solutions
  • Working knowledge of financial metrics
  • Ability to determine ROI on actions taken to continuously refine activities
  • Experience analyzing different aspects of customers’ needs
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience with hardware and/or application solutions or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing different aspects of customers’ needs.

Responsibilities

  • Internal and external evangelist for product offerings, working with all sales channels and key customers
  • Drive, optimize and manage product pricing and margins across Konica Minolta and third-party solutions while providing support to all sales channels
  • Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan and materials working with all departments for new products and for major “dot” revisions of existing software products
  • Manage relationships with Konica Minolta and third-party vendors to obtain the optimal product pricing and technical resolutions for customers and sales channels
  • Develop new product requirements based on industry experience with customers and prospects
  • Understand all aspects of customer wants and needs by market segment and by market category by working with key industry analysts
  • Balance and optimize solutions across the portfolio to meet customer needs with the focus to increase revenue from hardware and software sales
