BizzyCar•Quincy, MA
•$80,000 - $150,000•Hybrid

About The Position

BizzyCar is hiring its founding Solutions & Implementation Engineer, a customer-facing field role responsible for helping dealerships implement, adopt, and maximize BizzyCar solutions. The engineer will specialize in a product being rolled out to dealerships and build knowledge of automotive retail, dealership processes, BizzyCar products, and AI technology. The role includes configuring products to each dealership’s systems and operations, training staff, and supporting customers through the launch of AI-enabled processes. This is a net-new role that will help shape BizzyCar’s go-to-market approach and create the implementation playbook for future hires. The position is hybrid, requiring a few days in the office each month and 50–70% travel to client dealerships.

Requirements

  • Hands-on integration and configuration experience, including connecting a product to external systems through APIs, webhooks, or configuration tools and validating it end-to-end.
  • Troubleshooting and log-diagnosis skills, including reproducing issues and distinguishing configuration problems from product bugs.
  • Experience delivering customer training or enablement, ideally for non-technical audiences.
  • Implementation project-management experience, including managing a kickoff-to-go-live timeline and its stakeholders.
  • Ability to validate and verify data across systems, such as confirming records, statuses, or availability synchronize correctly.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with customer discovery and workflow mapping, translating customer processes into product configuration.
  • Experience with issue triage and escalation in a customer-facing technical role.
  • Light scripting or SQL skills for querying data or scripting quick validations.
  • Experience writing runbooks, SOPs, or setup documentation for handoff to a support team.
  • Familiarity with SaaS implementation and deployment methods, including onboarding, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Familiarity with APIs and integration patterns, including REST, webhooks, authentication, and system-to-system communication.
  • Familiarity with automotive retail or fixed operations, including service drives, repair orders, recalls, and dealership operations.
  • Familiarity with dealership management and scheduling systems such as CDK, Reynolds, Tekion, Xtime, and myKaarma.
  • Familiarity with data structures and validation concepts.
  • Familiarity with support and escalation processes, including tiers, SLAs, and handoffs.
  • Familiarity with change management or adoption principles.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance basics, including PII handling and call-recording consent.
  • Ownership, resourcefulness, learning agility, adaptability, attention to detail, calm troubleshooting, empathetic change management, feedback discipline, and low-ego cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Own dealer implementations end-to-end, from kickoff through go-live and early hypercare.
  • Configure solutions for each dealership by translating its service-drive workflows and technology stack into product configuration, working with the engineering team as needed.
  • Validate that customer, availability, recall, and repair-order data flow correctly across systems before go-live.
  • Train non-technical dealership staff and manage the change process to drive adoption.
  • Manage implementation timelines, stakeholders, and go-live dates.
  • Troubleshoot live issues by reproducing them, reading logs, distinguishing configuration issues from product bugs, and documenting clear reproduction steps.
  • Resolve issues when appropriate and prepare clear escalations for engineering when needed.
  • Create runbooks and standard operating procedures to make implementations repeatable and support handoff to the support team.
  • Relay specific, reliable feedback from customer sites to the product team.

Benefits
