Solutions Engineer
About The Position
AGF Talent is partnering with a fast-growing defense technology company to find a Solutions Engineer who will serve as a critical bridge between cutting-edge AI-powered software and the national security community. In this role, you will be embedded with military clients at bases across the country, configuring software, training end users and executives, and translating complex data into compelling mission-critical insights. If you are technical, client-facing, and passionate about national security, this role was built for you. This role requires approximately 75% travel to client sites at military bases across the United States and occasionally internationally. Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship (required); ability to obtain a security clearance (sponsored)
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Political Science, International Relations, or a similar field
- Proficiency in SQL and/or Python; candidates will be assessed on technical skills during the interview process
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to present to senior executives and navigate complex client conversations
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve open-ended problems in unstructured, fast-paced environments
- Genuine curiosity about national security, defense acquisition, and how data can solve hard government problems
Nice To Haves
- Experience with the DoD or Federal Government (any branch: Army, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, State Department, etc.)
- Background in a SaaS, analytics, consulting, or advisory services environment
- Experience with data visualization and presenting findings to government stakeholders
- Active U.S. security clearance
Responsibilities
- Own the full implementation lifecycle, from technical configuration and data integration (SQL/Python) to end-user training and executive briefings at military installations
- Travel regularly to client sites at military bases across the US; international on occasion
- Translate platform data into compelling analytical reports and visual briefings for senior government officials
- Partner with Account Managers and Product teams to capture user feedback and shape product direction
- Drive platform adoption through targeted training strategies, custom user guides, and proactive engagement
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses on national security challenges using AI-enabled data tools
- Support sales pursuits through compelling product demonstrations
