About The Position

This is an early-career Solutions Engineer role for individuals beginning their journey in the sales profession. At this stage, you may require regular coaching across most customer interactions and rely heavily on your manager and peers for guidance. You demonstrate a clear desire to learn quickly, an aptitude for rapidly developing job-specific skills, and a positive, enthusiastic attitude toward coaching and feedback. Requirements

• Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience
• Demonstrates a proven foundation in programming concepts and applies technical knowledge to support customer needs and product solutions.
• Communicates technical concepts clearly to peers and customers through presentations, simple product demonstrations, and effective technical discussions.
• Engages in customer discovery by asking relevant questions, understanding business goals, and participating in solution-focused conversations.
• Researches, documents, and resolves customer questions while providing technical support for core Indeed products and contributing to successful customer outcomes.
• Understands key sales engineering concepts, including sales cycle stages, business and technical champions, technical wins, and ownership of tasks that drive opportunity closure.
• Continuously develops professional expertise by completing required training, applying new knowledge, identifying skill gaps, and proactively pursuing growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Asks discovery questions to uncover the details of the primary opportunity.
• Delivers a technical presentation.
• Fields basic questions from customers on documented features.
• Whiteboarding or diagraming common Indeed use cases.
• Experience defining and troubleshooting API integrations.
