As a solutions engineer at GovPilot, you'll be the technical heartbeat of our sales process. You'll partner closely with our account executives to win new business — running product demonstrations, responding to RFPs, and helping prospects understand exactly how GovPilot solves their problems. You know how to translate complex software capabilities into clear, compelling stories for non-technical buyers. This is a pre-sales role. You'll spend most of your time in discovery calls, demos, and proposal responses — not in implementation. You'll be talking to City Managers, IT Directors, Town Clerks, and Building Officials, so the ability to connect with public sector buyers is essential. We're looking for candidates based in the West or Central time zones to ensure strong coverage across our growing municipal prospect base in those regions.
