About The Position

Laserfiche is seeking a customer-focused Solutions Engineer to guide clients through the implementation process. This role involves understanding client business objectives, identifying technical challenges, and designing scalable solutions. The Solutions Engineer will act as a trusted advisor, facilitating discovery, configuring systems, demonstrating product capabilities, and ensuring smooth deployment. Collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Project Management teams is key to aligning implementations with customer expectations. Responsibilities include configuring and deploying solutions, testing functionality, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining clear communication. Solutions Engineers may also lead smaller projects independently, managing timelines, deliverables, and budgets, while documenting outcomes and ensuring customer satisfaction and product adoption.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative during the project life cycle.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex and dynamic customer environments.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and take responsibility for timely completion of tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree required, software engineering or technology degree preferred.
  • 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for Laserfiche in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of C#, JavaScript and SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Implement Laserfiche Direct Projects
  • Work directly with client to gather and analyze project requirements.
  • Design, implement, and deploy a solution for small- to medium-sized projects that incorporates out-of-the-box Laserfiche software and functionality.
  • Install, configure, and license software necessary for the implementation.
  • Provide weekly status meetings and demos to keep the client informed on project progress and report/discuss any obstacles.
  • Complete technical documentation for each project including System Documentation, End User Documentation, and a Test Plan.
  • Provide troubleshooting, training and support for the client during end-user testing and the post-deployment phase.
  • Manage Laserfiche Direct Projects
  • Manage small-scale LFC projects, ensuring adherence to PM methodology.
  • Create a project management plan that includes timeline, communication plan, and team tasks.
  • Monitor and report on project status and budget.
  • Conduct project closeout and complete a project retrospective.
  • Support the Services team
  • Provide implementation backup to other Solutions Engineers as needed.
  • Participate in knowledge exchange at forums and other department meetings.
  • Provide product feedback and support.
  • Review and test new Laserfiche releases to discover bugs and potential enhancements proactively.
  • Provide feedback on current LFC processes and participate in department retrospectives.
