Solutions Engineer Software - Keysight EDA tools
About The Position
Keysight Technologies is hiring a Solutions Engineer to join its Customer Success team and support the company’s EDA software strategy. The role works with Tier 1 accounts across the Americas and assists territory accounts in Silicon Valley, providing technical assistance, adoption support, demonstrations, and examples to promote retention and expansion of Keysight EDA software solutions. The engineer works closely with customers to build design flows and deliver an integrated customer experience, with support from experienced EDA professionals. Keysight EDA provides design tools for electronic communication and semiconductor manufacturers, chip designers, and R&D integrators. Its software includes ADS, RFPro, SystemVue, and IC-CAP. The position focuses on helping customers use these tools effectively in their design work and workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills and strong customer interaction skills.
- At least 5 years of experience in one or more related fields, such as RF System, RFIC/MMIC/Module, High-Speed Digital, Applications Engineering, or Technical Support.
- Knowledge of fundamental concepts in Communication Systems design, Electronic System Level (ESL) design, High-Speed Digital (HSD) design, or RF/Microwave design, including Electromagnetics.
- Knowledge of Keysight EDA tools such as ADS or SystemVue, or other industry EDA tools.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, both independently and collaboratively.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
- Project or program management experience in aerospace/defense or commercial applications.
- Experience working with distributed customers and distributed internal teams.
- Expert-level knowledge of RF and Microwave design, Communication Systems design, or Electronic System Level design and verification.
- Proven expertise with Keysight EDA tools such as ADS and SystemVue.
Responsibilities
- Establish and expand Keysight EDA solutions within customers’ design flows in new and existing accounts.
- Prioritize ongoing design and technical activities at customer sites.
- Articulate customers’ design flows, gaps, and opportunities.
- Develop customer success plans and execute them to drive software adoption and enter new design teams and workflows.
- Drive software usage and manage customer issues and escalations.
- Drive open issues to closure with customers and Keysight management as needed.
- Identify opportunities to demonstrate EDA capabilities and design flows for existing and emerging standards.
