About The Position

The Solutions Analyst Intern will support the Uber Freight Parcel Solutions team with solution design functions for sales and onboarding of the Parcel Transportation Management System (PTMS) product. The role provides hands-on exposure to translating customer business needs into technical designs. With mentorship from senior architects, the intern will shadow and assist in building solutions for Uber Freight customers or prospects, gaining experience in supply chain logistics, software engineering, and customer strategy.

The internship runs June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027, and requires full-time availability (40 hours) and the ability to work from one of the company’s central hubs in Rogers, Arkansas, or Chicago, Illinois. The position is hybrid.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in MIS, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours) from June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027.
• Ability to work in one of the central hubs in Rogers, Arkansas, or Chicago, Illinois.

Nice To Haves

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in translating complex business concepts into technical terms for developers and business analysts.
• Proficiency with Google Office Suite and foundational knowledge of AI tools.
• Familiarity with or interest in project management and ticketing tools such as JIRA.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to build relationships across cross-functional teams.
• Self-directed, energetic attitude and a passion for thrilling clients and improving supply chain performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and documenting customer business and technical requirements for Detailed Future State documentation.
• Collaborate with sales, onboarding, PTMS engineers, and project management teams to align product development efforts with customer business requirements.
• Shadow senior Solution Architects during structured requirements-gathering sessions with customers and vendors.
• Research, process, and analyze data, including value stream mapping and process analysis, to support the design of integrated TMS/PTMS solutions.
• Attend and support account status meetings and internal strategy sessions.
• Participate in Uber Freight intern meetings, seminars, learning opportunities, and end-of-summer project presentations.
