About The Position

Dematic Corp. is seeking a Solution Development Engineering Manager to join a diverse and fast-paced environment. This role is crucial for the Solution Development team, which is responsible for generating creative concepts, minimizing risk, and delivering firm-price proposals. The Solution Development Engineering Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure concepts are executable, risks are identified, and standard processes are followed. Dematic is a global leader in integrated automated technology, software, and services for supply chain optimization, employing over 6,000 professionals worldwide and having implemented more than 6,000 integrated systems for a wide range of clients.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
5+ years experience leading high performing teams
3+ years industry experience preferred

PMP is helpful

Responsibilities

Lead a dynamic team of up to 20 employees, driving creative solutions and flawless execution
Assign and strategically plan resources for Solution Requests, ensuring efficient utilization
Monitor and balance the workload of your team, encouraging an environment of productivity and efficiency
Participate in customer meetings, providing expert insights and building strong client relationships
Support the execution of the annual business plan, contributing to the long-term success of the company
Achieve quarterly goals and key results for your group, maintaining a tight reporting cadence for project performance
Implement agile methods and LEAN problem-solving techniques to improve project, team, and process performance
Continually mentor your team through group and one-on-one sessions, encouraging growth and development
Drive iterative value creation methods, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation
