Solution Development Manager
About The Position
Dematic Corp. is looking for a Solution Development Engineering Manager to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment. The SD Eng Mgr position is integral to the success of Solution Development team responsible for leading a team that generates creative concepts, minimizes risk, and delivers firm price proposals. This role is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our concepts are executable, risk is identified, and standard processes are being followed. Dematic is a leading supplier of integrated automated technology, software and services to optimize the supply chain. Dematic employs over 6,000 skilled logistics professionals to serve its customers globally, with engineering centers and manufacturing facilities located around the world. Dematic is one brand under the KION Group of companies and has implemented more than 6,000 integrated systems for a customer base that includes small, medium and large companies doing business in a variety of market sectors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
- 5+ years experience leading high performing teams
- 3+ years industry experience preferred

- MBA is preferred
- PMP is helpful
Responsibilities
- Lead a dynamic team of up to 20 employees, driving creative solutions and flawless execution
- Assign and strategically plan resources for Solution Requests, ensuring efficient utilization
- Monitor and balance the workload of your team, encouraging an environment of productivity and efficiency
- Participate in customer meetings, providing expert insights and building strong client relationships
- Support the execution of the annual business plan, contributing to the long-term success of the company
- Achieve quarterly goals and key results for your group, maintaining a tight reporting cadence for project performance
- Implement agile methods and LEAN problem-solving techniques to improve project, team, and process performance
- Continually mentor your team through group and one-on-one sessions, encouraging growth and development
- Drive iterative value creation methods, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation
