This role involves comparing product, service, and process maturity within a subdomain to industry standards, identifying innovation opportunities, and staying updated on new processes and automation techniques. The Solution Consultant III will identify necessary processes, tools, and baseline products for low-complexity projects, including software, models, plans, and documentation. Responsibilities include configuring virtual machines for various network and application needs (email, intranet, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, core business applications, cloud systems), supporting business case development by analyzing industry factors and business metrics, and owning project delivery. The role requires understanding competitor products and services (like SAP, Workday, Infor, Coupa), evaluating programming tools and architectures, and discussing features and risks with engineering teams. Additionally, the position will oversee user acceptance testing, demonstrate domain-specific knowledge, support documentation, test application connections, map requirements to test objectives, create and execute test cases, conduct various types of testing, assess business risks, and perform routine application maintenance and monitoring under guidance. The role also involves assisting with maintenance activities and understanding the implications of maintenance debt.
