About The Position

As a Solution Consultant III, you will play a pivotal role in delivering technology-driven solutions that address complex business challenges. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with stakeholders, and ensure the successful implementation of solutions that align with Walmart’s strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in solution consulting, business analysis, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise systems, cloud technologies, and integration patterns.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in retail or e-commerce is a plus.
  • Experience with supply chain processes and technologies is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with warehouse automation solutions is strongly desired.
  • Experience with vendor management, governance, and IT incident/problem management practices preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business and technical teams to understand requirements and design effective solutions.
  • Lead solution design sessions and present recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Develop and document solution architectures, workflows, and technical specifications.
  • Oversee the implementation and integration of solutions, ensuring alignment with Walmart’s standards.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
  • Support change management and user adoption activities.
  • Create comprehensive solution security plans and documentation to obtain InfoSec (Information Security) approval for new and existing solutions.
  • Manage 3rd party vendor relationships, ensuring adherence to governance, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Oversee vendor performance, contracts, and escalations to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Support incident and problem management for existing technology in operations, working closely with operational teams to drive issue resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Manage and mentor business analysts and quality engineering (QE) resources, fostering professional development and promoting knowledge sharing across the team.

Benefits

  • The pay range for this position is $91,900.00 - $126,390.00. Pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
