About The Position
Donegal Alliance Church is seeking a Solo Pastor to lead a fellowship of Christians committed to engaging people in a dynamic relationship with God through Jesus Christ. The church’s mission includes presenting an effective witness in the community, mentoring believers in the spiritual disciplines of God’s Word, and providing an environment that encourages members to serve through their spiritual gifts. The church’s current ministries include Junior Church for children through seventh grade, weekly elders’ prayer time, weekly Wednesday-night Bible study and prayer, a walking and activity group, and Operation Christmas Child. Community outreach activities have included Easter outreach, Daily Vacation Bible School, prayer walks, Operation Christmas Child, and Christmas caroling. Over the next five years, the church hopes to build relationships within its congregation as members deepen their spiritual lives, enabling them to reach out to the community and demonstrate Christ’s love. Donegal is a rural recreational community in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, near local parks, forests, resorts, and attractions.
