About The Position

Clean Harbors is seeking Solids Control Technicians to operate solids control equipment on drill rigs. This is a high-travel position involving rotational work in the local area and may require extended travel based on business demands. Technicians repair, maintain, set up, and rig down equipment; troubleshoot minor electrical and other issues; complete daily paperwork; and operate heavy equipment. The role also involves customer relationship management and work in a safety-focused environment.

Requirements

Previous solids control experience in the Northeast United States or construction experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to work rotating day and night shifts.
Ability to travel for extended periods as business demands require.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and internal management.
Flexible, motivated, able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, and able to respond quickly to change.

Responsibilities

Promote Clean Harbors’ safety, environmental, and operations policies.
Follow policies and processes and act safely at all times, keeping health and safety as the top priority.
Repair, maintain, set up, and rig down solids control equipment.
Service and maintain solids control equipment weekly.
Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical issues and other issues that arise.
Complete required daily paperwork, including safety documents, JSAs, work orders, service records, and daily reports.
Operate heavy equipment, including loaders, excavators, and forklifts.
Build and maintain customer relationships.
Perform other duties and tasks assigned by management as required by business needs.
