About The Position

Clean Harbors is seeking Solids Control Technicians to operate solids control equipment on drill rigs. This is a high-travel position requiring rotational work in the local area. The role includes repairing, maintaining, setting up, and rigging down equipment; operating heavy equipment; completing daily paperwork; and working with customers. Employees are expected to follow the company’s safety, environmental, and operational policies and may perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

Previous solids control experience in the Northeast U.S. or construction experience.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to work rotating day and night shifts.
Ability to travel for extended periods according to business demands.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and internal management.
Flexible, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment and respond quickly to change.

Heavy equipment experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Promote Clean Harbors’ safety, environmental, and operations policies.
Follow policies and processes and work safely at all times, making health and safety the number one goal.
Repair, maintain, set up, and rig down solids control equipment.
Service and maintain solids control equipment on a weekly basis.
Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical issues and other issues that arise.
Complete required daily paperwork, including safety documents, JSAs, work orders, service records, and daily reports.
Operate heavy equipment, including loaders, excavators, and forklifts.
Develop and maintain customer relationships.
Perform other duties and tasks assigned by management according to business needs.
