As a Software tools engineer, you will contribute to the customization, maintenance, and administration of the commercial tools spanning DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines, team management, and collaboration. You will be working with teams to develop custom behaviors and workflows to meet program needs while meeting requirements for traceability and security. These tools will be used through the execution of requirements generation, software design, implementation, integration, and flight test. This role also will be working with IT to minimize downtime and manage those impacts as well as developing and maintaining custom, proprietary tools used by maintenance and operations. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a Secret clearance to be considered.

Requirements

  • Secret Clearance
  • Experience with scripting languages Bash, Power Shell, Python
  • Experience customizing and scripting in Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bamboo
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, including automation, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and secure system configuration.
  • Must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • Top Secret Clearance
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience with Linux admin tasks
  • Experience working with programming languages such as Groovy, Java, C/C++, VB.net/VBA
  • Experience with ScriptRunner for Jira
  • Experience working with Git, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Nexus

Responsibilities
