About The Position

The Systems Engineer, Integration and Test role is within the Skunk Works – Advanced Development Programs team at Lockheed Martin. This team is responsible for supporting the integration and validation of mission-system functions across lab, flying-test-bed, and flight-test environments. The role requires developing test requirements and detailed procedures based on system specifications, executing integration and test activities in laboratory settings, evaluating system performance on flying test-beds, and supporting mission-system flight-test evaluations. The engineer will report results to stakeholders, interface with engineers, pilots, and program leadership using technical background and communication skills, and apply expertise in modern, software-intensive mission-system architectures and military aircraft functionality. Travel is required for this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Experience with Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test background.
  • Experience in full System Development Life Cycle execution and best practices on software and hardware-based systems.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must possess an active Top Secret clearance to start.
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in software life cycle logistics, including knowledge of build paradigms, merge request processes, and dependency/artifact management.
  • Experience with CAMEO.
