About The Position

Kyyba is seeking a Software Test Analyst to conduct comprehensive software testing and support quality improvement for customer-facing IT solutions. The role includes planning and executing tests, designing and managing test cases and acceptance criteria within Agile projects, documenting defects, and analyzing processes to improve software quality and reliability. The analyst will support user story validation and participate in sprint ceremonies. The position also works directly with senior management on testing impacts, quality strategy, risk assessments, testing approaches, and defect resolution. Testing includes validating functionality, accessibility, performance, and security considerations for solutions designed for public use. The role is located in Lansing, Michigan. Requirements

• At least 5 years conducting comprehensive software testing, including test planning, test case design, execution, defect documentation, and process analysis.
• At least 5 years creating, refining, and managing test cases and acceptance criteria within Agile development projects, including user story validation and sprint ceremonies.
• At least 2 years working directly with senior management on testing impacts, quality strategy, risk assessments, testing approaches, and defect resolution.
• At least 2 years testing IT solutions designed for public use, including functionality, accessibility, performance, and security considerations.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct comprehensive software testing activities.
• Design, execute, refine, and manage test cases and acceptance criteria in Agile development projects.
• Support user story validation and participate in sprint ceremonies.
• Document defects and analyze processes to improve software quality and reliability.
• Work with senior management to communicate testing impacts, discuss quality strategy, contribute to risk assessments, and align on testing approaches and defect resolution.
• Test public-facing IT solutions for functionality, accessibility, performance, and security considerations.
