About The Position

Pictavo, Taylor Corporation’s yearbook division, is seeking a highly motivated Software Support Specialist to provide customer service and software support to internal and external users of its proprietary software. The role supports end-users with varying levels of technical knowledge and requires strong communication and problem-solving skills. It is based on site in North Mankato, Minnesota, and is a temporary, full-time position scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. The anticipated pay range is $17.00–$18.00 per hour; the actual offer may depend on qualifications, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications or licenses, and location.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of experience in the field or a related area.
Secondary education, preferably in the IT field.

Responsibilities

Provide timely and accurate information to customers by phone and email.
Provide basic software support to clients via email, phone, or other methods.
Work flexibly with the personal and stylistic differences of internal and external customers.
Perform tier 1 troubleshooting before escalating issues.
Evaluate and identify opportunities for process improvements that positively affect the customer experience.
Review books for quality concerns.
Assist other departments as needed.
