About The Position

Pictavo, Taylor Corporation’s yearbook division, is seeking a highly motivated Software Support Specialist in North Mankato, Minnesota. The role provides customer service and software support to internal and external users of proprietary software. It requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, including the ability to assist end-users with varying levels of technical knowledge. This is a temporary, full-time, onsite position scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The position is based at 1750 Northway Drive in North Mankato, Minnesota. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of experience in the field or a related area.
Secondary education, preferably in the IT field.

Responsibilities

Provide timely and accurate information to customers by phone and email.
Provide basic software support to clients by email, phone, or other methods.
Work flexibly with the personal and stylistic differences of internal and external customers.
Perform tier 1 troubleshooting before escalating issues.
Identify opportunities for process improvements that positively affect the customer experience.
Review books for quality concerns.
Assist other departments as needed.
