About The Position

The Software QA Engineer tests and debugs moderately complex software products to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards. The role performs software tests on code and enhancements and develops, modifies, and executes test plans under general supervision. It analyzes test results, maintains test documentation, recommends corrective action, and consults with development engineers to resolve problems. The position also contributes feedback for technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software, and helps ensure quality computer integration with scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing.
