About The Position

The Level IV Software Integration Engineer integrates, installs, configures, upgrades, compiles, and supports COTS/GOTS software in heterogeneous operating system environments. The role works in Linux environments to maintain and administer Kubernetes clusters and develop capabilities using container and infrastructure automation technologies. Automated deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications support a large mission base, while infrastructure as code supports cluster provisioning and maintenance. The engineer documents the full software stack, updates software for sustainment, performs basic Linux administration and shell scripting, runs test code to characterize software performance, and owns HPC software tools. The role also develops plugins in the languages used by the tools and determines the best available HPC configurations for customer needs. The position requires adapting to a fast-paced environment and working across different architectural paradigms. The listed tools and services include Kubernetes, Docker, Podman, Helm, Flux, Git, Ansible, VS Code, VMware, OneView, GitLab CI/CD, FastAPI, uv, HAProxy, NGINX, and the Atlassian Tool Suite (Confluence and Jira). The position requires an active TS clearance with a customer-appropriate polygraph. U.S. citizenship and a position-appropriate security clearance are required due to federal contract requirements.
