Software Integration Engineer 3 (IDN - 204)
About The Position
SageCor Solutions is hiring a Software Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain tools and services supporting Atlassian products, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo. The engineer will work with software developers, system administrators, project managers, and mission customers to deliver integrations that improve productivity and streamline workflows. The role requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. Candidates must meet the stated education and experience qualifications through one of the listed pathways: a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field plus at least eight years of demonstrable relevant experience; five years of full-time, directly related Computer Science work substituted for a degree plus at least eight years of demonstrable experience; or eligible substitutions involving an industry-recognized professional certification or a master's degree.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least eight years of demonstrable experience integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment; alternatively, five years of full-time, directly related Computer Science work may substitute for the degree, with at least eight years of demonstrable experience.
- An industry-recognized professional certification, as defined in the TT0s, may substitute for one year of experience; a master's degree in Computer Science or a related field may substitute for two years of experience.
- Experience using the Linux command-line interface.
- Experience writing scripts to automate tasks using Bash, Python, or Groovy.
- Experience configuring and customizing Atlassian products.
- Experience troubleshooting Atlassian integration failures, performance bottlenecks, and compatibility issues.
- Experience testing Atlassian integrations for functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders to understand integration requirements and mission needs.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with sustaining mission applications deployed in a Unix environment.
- Experience interacting with or training external customers.
