Software Integration Engineer 3
About The Position
The Software Integration Engineer designs, develops, and maintains tools and services supporting GDIT’s Atlassian product suite, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo, collectively referred to in the posting as SUBURBANDEVELOPMENT. The role works with software developers, system administrators, project managers, and mission customers to deliver integrations that improve productivity and streamline workflows. The position is onsite in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, and requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph and U.S. citizenship. The role requires at least eight years of related experience and technical training, certifications, or a degree. The scheduled workweek is 40 hours, with no travel required.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of related experience.
- Technical training, certification(s), or a degree.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Experience using the Linux command-line interface.
- Experience writing scripts to automate tasks using Bash, Python, or Groovy.
- Experience configuring and customizing the Atlassian suite of products.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving Atlassian integration failures, performance bottlenecks, or compatibility issues.
- Experience testing Atlassian integrations for functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders to understand integration requirements and mission needs.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with sustaining mission applications deployed in a Unix environment.
- Experience interacting with or training external customers.
