About The Position

Apple’s Vision Products Group is seeking a software engineering project manager to help build the next generation of augmented reality interactive solutions for Apple platforms. The role leads cross-functional programs and feature areas in spatial computing, augmented reality, and 3D rendering for visionOS and other Apple platforms.

Working with engineering management, the EPM leads projects through the software development lifecycle from concept to delivery. The position requires experience with system software and project management, strong communication and leadership, and the ability to drive multiple complex projects simultaneously. The EPM builds collaborative relationships across the organization, manages conflicts and challenges, and takes responsibility for project outcomes and delivery while communicating status and risks clearly.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of related experience with a BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering, or relevant industry experience.
• Experience in software program or project management.
• Experience and a consistent track record leading and shipping multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Experience driving and delivering critical project features involving integration with multiple teams.
• Solid knowledge of software development practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Curiosity about and passion for new technologies, with the ability to quickly understand technical concepts.
• Ability to create and execute plans in ambiguous settings, identify priorities, and drive what matters.
• Excellent collaboration skills, including working with different teams and fostering trust.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• High integrity and energy, and comfort working in a dynamic and constantly changing environment.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity or prior experience in augmented or virtual reality, computer vision, machine learning and artificial intelligence, or 3D rendering engines.
• Prior hands-on software development experience is highly desired.
