LT ZERO Asia Pacific•Centennial, CO
•$160,000 - $200,000•Hybrid

About The Position

The Software Engineering Manager / Product Owner leads and line-manages the Centennial object storage engineering team, while owning team execution, delivery, and backlog prioritization. The role builds and develops the team, mentors engineers, establishes effective engineering and delivery practices, and works with the technical lead and senior engineers on technical direction, architecture, risks, and dependencies. The position partners closely with Product Management on roadmap planning, scope, sequencing, and trade-offs, translating priorities into actionable engineering work. It balances feature development with technical debt, quality, performance, maintainability, and reliability, and communicates progress, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs to Product Management and the broader ActiveScale organization. The team works across the ActiveScale I/O pipeline, including S3 request handling, data placement, durability, and movement of data across NVMe, HDD, and tape. The manager maintains enough technical depth to contribute to design discussions and sound engineering decisions, and supports work across S3 and data-mover functionality. This is a hybrid role requiring in-office work at the Centennial, Colorado office Tuesday through Thursday.
