About The Position

CACI is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for a 12-week summer 2027 internship beginning in May. The position is fully on-site at CACI’s Sarasota, Florida location and involves working on a long-term program that addresses real-world challenges. Projects are implemented by small, innovative teams, providing opportunities to contribute and exchange solutions and technologies. Interns collaboratively develop mission-critical software applications in close coordination with users, with an emphasis on user needs, mission success, communication, learning, and teamwork.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearance.
• Minimum clearance required to start: TS/SCI.

Nice To Haves

• Strong object-oriented design skills and knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Proficiency in one or more of Java, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, MySQL, or Bash.
• Experience with web frameworks such as VueJS.
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Excellent debugging and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
