About The Position

CACI is seeking Software Engineering Interns for a 12-week summer internship beginning in May 2027. The role is based fully on-site at the company’s Sarasota, Florida location. Interns will work in small, collaborative teams on a large, long-term program addressing real-world challenges and developing mission-critical software in coordination with users. The position offers opportunities to contribute to design and development, learn technical concepts, and work with teammates who prioritize the customer mission.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an applicable security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Strong object-oriented design skills and knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Proficiency in one or more of Java, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, MySQL, or Bash.
• Experience with web frameworks such as VueJS.
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Excellent debugging and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
