Software Engineering Intern (Summer 2027)

Cohesity•Santa Clara, CA

About The Position

Cohesity is hiring a Software Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. Interns join a collaborative engineering team building products that protect and manage customer data. The intern will contribute to technical projects that affect production systems, working with engineers, technical leaders, and mentors to design, develop, test, and deliver solutions across cloud, platform, infrastructure, security, and data management products. The internship provides hands-on experience with distributed systems, cloud-native technologies, and the software development lifecycle. Interns are hired into a general talent pool and matched with a team during recruitment. Potential areas include cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, data management, cybersecurity, storage systems, platform engineering, and emerging technologies. Team matching considers the candidate’s interests, experience, and technical strengths. High-performing interns may be considered for full-time new graduate positions after graduation. Employees within a reasonable commute of a Cohesity core office are expected to work from the office 2–3 days per week. Cohesity strongly prefers candidates near the designated job location; candidates outside the area should apply only if willing to relocate before starting and legally able to work in that location.
