About The Position

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Irving, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. In this role, you will consult on and participate in moderately complex initiatives within Software Engineering. As a hands-on individual contributor, you will review and analyze software engineering challenges, contribute to their resolution, and collaborate with internal teams while leveraging a solid understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
4-6 years of experience with Splunk
4-6 years of experience with AppDynamics Application Performance Monitoring
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Nice To Haves

Any scripting experience (e.g., Python)
AI exposure
Understanding of Automation principles and tools (Ansible, Selenium etc.)
Experience with Business Intelligence Tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word)
Experience with Mainframe technology
Experience with SNOW or Prometheus
Ability to operate effectively in a geographically dispersed organization
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

Responsibilities

Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering
Contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables
Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues
Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering
