About The Position
Dev.Pro is hiring an Intermediate Software Engineer in Latin America to join a team responsible for integration services for a large payroll and HR platform supporting the entire employee lifecycle. In this role, you’ll help build new integrations with third-party systems, maintain existing services, and contribute to a major upcoming migration from .NET and Node.js to MuleSoft. This is a remote-first position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere and the opportunity for professional and personal growth within a diverse, dedicated team.
Requirements
- 2+ years of commercial software development experience
- 6+ months of hands-on MuleSoft development experience
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Ability to read and understand existing Node.js code
- Experience building APIs, integrations, or backend services
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn new technologies
- Upper-Intermediate English level
Nice To Haves
- Experience reading .NET code or working with .NET applications
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure
- Experience using AI tools in day-to-day development
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrations between the platform and third-party systems
- Analyze technical documentation and implement integration solutions
- Support existing .NET and Node.js applications by troubleshooting and resolving production issues
- Contribute to the migration of existing integrations to MuleSoft
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to deliver integration projects
- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and development planning
- Contribute to continuous improvements across the platform
- Proactively communicate progress, blockers, and project status to ensure visibility and alignment
- Continuously expand your technical knowledge and adopt new technologies and tools
