Staff Mulesoft Software Engineer

About The Position

This role provides technical leadership to execution teams for development and integration. The engineer will lead comprehensive design analysis of design solutions, and lead integration and verification testing of an integrated software build. The position requires staying abreast of new technology and competitive products to define GM's direction, and to provide, communicate, and support common best practices among the software community. The engineer will perform as a subject matter expert for one or more platform or application components. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in-office and 2 days remote, with the ability to report to a local office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field of study.
  • Ten (10) years of experience as a Senior Lead Architect, Solutions Architect, Systems Analyst, Programmer Analyst Full Stack Engineer or related.
  • OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field of study.
  • Eight (8) years of experienced as a Senior Lead Architect, Solutions Architect, Systems Analyst, Programmer Analyst Full Stack Engineer or related.
  • Eight (8) years of experience with Microservices, event-driven architectures, and REST/SOAP; Maven concepts; and Integration and API architecture.
  • Six (6) years of experience with On-premise/cloud-based infrastructures, SDLC pipelines, and deployment/configurations and definition/evangelism of best practices/standards; and Agile delivery principles and quality software engineering processes and practice.
  • Five (5) years of experience with Mulesoft.
