We invite an Intermediate Software Engineer to join our team responsible for integration services within a large payroll and HR platform supporting the entire employee lifecycle. In this role, you’ll work on integration projects, support existing services, and have the opportunity to contribute to the platform’s upcoming migration to MuleSoft.

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial software development experience
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Experience building APIs, integrations, or backend services
• Ability to read and understand existing Node.js code
• Interest in MuleSoft demonstrated through coursework, certifications, or personal coding projects
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies
• Upper-Intermediate English level

Nice To Haves

• Experience reading .NET code or working with .NET applications
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure
• Experience using AI tools in day-to-day development

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrations between the platform and third-party systems
• Analyze technical documentation and implement integration solutions
• Support existing .NET and Node.js applications by troubleshooting and resolving production issues
• Support the migration of existing integrations to MuleSoft
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to deliver integration projects
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and development planning
• Contribute to continuous improvements across the platform
• Proactively communicate progress, blockers, and project status to ensure visibility and alignment
• Continuously expand your technical knowledge and adopt new technologies and tools
