About The Position

Drive performance engineering and DevOps for the CDP Debit platform. Design and execute comprehensive load testing strategies, including defining test scenarios, creating load scripts, and establishing pass/fail thresholds to certify releases for production readiness. Conduct in-depth performance analysis to identify bottlenecks, latency anomalies, and capacity limits. Architect performance testing infrastructure on Kubernetes clusters with nine-node topologies that simulate production scale and failure scenarios. Lead release certification for initiatives including TAC/TAF, DDoS protection validation, and CMM platform expansions. Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines that enforce TrueCD regulatory compliance, integrate audit evidence collection and TestSight results uploads, and perform compliance validation. Manage environment lifecycles across Dev, QA, and Performance cluster migrations. Contribute to platform resiliency through persistent in-flight transaction logging, egress gateway configurations that replicate production network topologies, and optimization of containerized microservice images to reduce memory footprint and accelerate deployments. Modernize database change management by replacing fragmented Liquibase processes with a centralized schema control framework. Serve as the performance engineering shared service lead across CMM, TASER, and STL applications, providing cross-functional load testing, integration validation, and resiliency certification. Establish repeatable, auditable testing standards and execution frameworks for BAU release cycles. Mentor global team members on DevOps and performance engineering best practices and contribute to firm-wide technology innovation initiatives. The role requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and seven years of relevant experience, or a master's degree in one of those fields and five years of relevant experience. The job is full-time and located at 3424 Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30326.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus seven years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation; alternatively, a master's degree in one of those fields plus five years of such experience.
  • Experience designing, developing, and optimizing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, and GitHub Actions for microservices architectures.
  • Experience automating build, test, and deployment workflows for continuous integration and delivery compliance across distributed application portfolios.
  • Experience building and managing containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, including image optimization, multi-stage builds, base-image standardization, and multi-node cluster configurations.
  • Experience designing cloud infrastructure and platform engineering solutions using AWS or GCP.
  • Experience provisioning and managing infrastructure with IaC tools such as Terraform or Ansible, including environment creation, cluster deployment, and capacity planning.
  • Experience developing applications and automation scripts using Java, Python, or Groovy in enterprise-scale distributed systems.
  • Experience designing microservice components, build automation scripts, and pipeline orchestration logic for large-scale financial services platforms.
  • Experience designing and executing performance testing strategies using tools such as JMeter, including test plans, workload modeling, throughput certification, results analysis, and platform certification for high-throughput systems.
  • Experience architecting high-availability and fault-tolerant solutions for mission-critical payment or financial services platforms, including resiliency patterns, failover mechanisms, and zero-downtime deployment strategies.
  • Experience developing and deploying microservices using Spring Boot, including RESTful APIs, service communication patterns, and integration within distributed architectures.
  • Experience with monitoring, observability, and code quality metrics tools such as SonarQube or Hygieia.
  • Experience guiding software development using Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
