About The Position

Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting by using approaches beyond routine or conventional methods to build solutions and break down technical problems. Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain user interface components that run efficiently across multiple browsers and devices. Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure software code meets design constraints. Identify patterns and hidden problems in user experience and data, using those insights to improve interface design, accessibility, application performance, coding hygiene, and system architecture. Contribute to Software Engineering communities of practice and events focused on emerging technologies, and promote awareness and use of leading-edge technologies. This position requires experience designing and developing enterprise web applications and reusable React component libraries; setting architecture, engineering standards, and team workflows; building complex React and TypeScript applications; managing state; integrating frontends with REST microservices; implementing accessible interfaces; and testing frontend applications and CI/CD quality gates.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus three years of experience in the offered job or a related occupation; alternatively, a bachelor's degree in one of those fields plus five years of such experience.
  • Three years of experience designing and developing secure, responsive, and accessible enterprise web applications using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Three years of experience building, packaging, and publishing reusable React component libraries to internal npm registries, including tree-shakable bundles, type declarations, managed changelogs, and backward-compatible semantic versioning.
  • Three years of experience defining architecture, shaping roadmaps and backlogs, coordinating cross-functional teams, conducting code reviews, and establishing engineering standards.
  • Three years of experience defining and maintaining design tokens, governing reusable React component libraries, establishing contribution workflows and quality gates, enforcing accessibility and theming standards, and managing semantic versioning and releases across multiple product teams.
  • Three years of experience building complex single-page applications with React and TypeScript.
  • Three years of experience with advanced state management patterns using Redux and MobX, including normalized stores and scalable forms management.
  • Three years of experience integrating frontends with REST microservices, including API contract collaboration, robust error handling and retries, client-side caching and pagination, OAuth 2.0 and JWT authentication and authorization, and secure handling of sensitive data.
  • Three years of experience building accessible user interfaces compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA, including semantic HTML, ARIA patterns, keyboard and focus management, color contrast compliance, screen reader validation, and accessibility checks in CI pipelines.
  • Three years of experience with automated frontend unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress, as well as visual regression testing and API contract testing.
  • Three years of experience evaluating coverage thresholds and quality gates in CI/CD.
