About The Position

Applied Intuition is hiring a Software Engineer to contribute across the full technology stack, designing and implementing products, features, and tools that improve customers’ autonomy development workflows. The role works with large-scale data processing systems to support data-driven development and analysis. The engineer will collaborate with specialists in infrastructure, robotics, and graphics, experienced startup professionals, and the broader autonomy ecosystem. The position also offers the opportunity to develop a specialized area of expertise, influence product decisions, and grow through cross-disciplinary collaboration.

This is an in-office role based in Sunnyvale, California. Full-time employees are expected to work primarily from an Applied Intuition office five days per week, with flexibility for occasional remote work and schedule adjustments. The stated in-office expectation does not apply to contractor positions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 18 months of experience in a software engineering role for a technology company.
• At least 1 year of experience with Golang, C++, and SQL.
• At least 1 year of experience with MySQL and Redis.
• At least 1 year of experience with Apache Kafka and RocketMQ.
• At least 1 year of experience with gRPC, Thrift, Kitex, and Protobuf.
• At least 1 year of experience with GCP and OCI.
• At least 1 year of experience with unit testing, integration testing, stress testing, and Grafana.
