As a Software Engineer, you will help build technology that supports mission-critical products used by customers around the world. We are hiring engineers across a range of experience levels, from those growing their skills alongside experienced engineers to those independently owning features or leading technical design and architecture. You will work in a collaborative, AI-first engineering environment utilizing modern development tools, automation, and AI-assisted workflows. You will partner with various teams to solve customer problems while building reliable, scalable technology. Requirements

Relevant experience may come from professional roles, internships, academic work, military experience, open-source contributions, boot camps, or other hands-on software development.
A foundation in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Experience programming in languages such as Java, Go, Scala, C#, Python, C++, or similar
Experience or interest in building backend services, APIs, cloud applications, distributed systems, or other production software
Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL data stores
An understanding of software engineering fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, testing, debugging, and system design appropriate to your experience level
Curiosity about modern engineering tools, including AI-assisted development, code generation, and automation
A commitment to writing reliable, maintainable, and high-quality software
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
A desire to understand customer problems and build technology that makes a meaningful impact

Experience designing and delivering highly available, scalable cloud-based systems
Ownership of production services and complex technical projects
Strong system design and architecture experience
Experience making and communicating engineering tradeoffs
Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain production software and services
Own features and technical projects from requirements through production
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture design
Build highly available, scalable, and performant systems for mission-critical products
Work with modern cloud, distributed systems, data, and open-source technologies
Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to build solutions that solve real customer problems
Use AI-assisted development tools, automation, and intelligent workflows to improve engineering productivity and software quality
Validate and critically evaluate AI-generated code and technical recommendations
Improve testing, observability, reliability, and operational efficiency
Contribute to engineering processes and technical best practices
Learn from experienced engineers and share your knowledge with others
At more senior levels, provide technical leadership, influence architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and help raise the technical bar across teams
