Software Engineer, Teamwork Experiences Internship Opportunities

Microsoft•Redmond, WA
•$5,690 - $12,250

About The Position

Microsoft is hiring interns for a 2027 summer internship. As a Software Engineering Intern focused on AI/ML and large language models, you will help build AI-powered products and platforms using machine learning, LLMs, and intelligent services. You will work with engineers, researchers, signers, and linguistic experts on a technical project aligned with your interests, experience, and team priorities. Work may include model integration, retrieval systems, inference services, evaluation frameworks, and infrastructure for AI applications at scale. The work also supports building the data, tools, and models needed to help technology understand sign language and bring those capabilities into useful experiences. This may span capturing signing data, training and evaluating models, and integrating them into products. Microsoft interns contribute to real-world projects with teams across the world and are encouraged to build community, explore their interests, and develop their skills.
