As a Software Engineer Sr within PNC's Enterprise Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, or Birmingham, AL. Candidates should have experience with the following: - Production & Application Support Operations Provide reliable day‑to‑day support for production and non‑production applications to ensure system stability and business continuity. Deliver production and application support by monitoring system performance, responding to incidents, analyzing logs, and resolving issues using tools such as Dynatrace, API traces, and application logs. Troubleshoot application issues across layers, including APIs, SQL queries, and Oracle databases, performing root‑cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. - Application Maintenance, Patching & Technical Enablement Maintain application health through upgrades, configuration management, and vendor‑driven updates while supporting ongoing technical improvements. Configure, test, and install vendor‑provided patches and updates, coordinating deployment activities and validating application stability post‑implementation. Support application configuration changes, API integrations, and database updates, ensuring alignment with operational standards, security requirements, and release processes. Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.
  • University / college degree (or a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience including military service).

Responsibilities
