Software Engineer, Ruby on Rails and React

Narvar is seeking Software Engineers with expertise in Ruby on Rails and React to join their growing team. The role involves leading the design, development, and support of the platform architecture for engaging and meaningful products used by millions of customers worldwide. The team operates like a seed-funded startup, delivering applications in weeks rather than months, and collaborates closely with the CTO. Strong professional experience with Ruby on Rails and React is required, and previous startup experience is preferred. Narvar's mission is to simplify the everyday lives of consumers by providing seamless post-purchase experiences for retailers to retain, engage, and delight customers.

• Collaborate with manager and CTO to estimate, design, develop, debug, and launch applications that drive revenue
• Translate business/customer requirements to technical solutions
• Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovations

• Strong professional experience developing with Ruby on Rails
• Strong professional experience with React or similar Javascript frameworks
• Bonus: You like startups and have contributed to open-source Ruby projects even if it is just a small project
• Previous startup experience strongly preferred
