About The Position

Join an agile, international team of experienced developers and testers from Poland and the UK on a strategic transformation of the IT ecosystem for a leading travel industry company. The project focuses on designing and building modern, scalable solutions from scratch to replace outdated systems with new platforms built using best engineering practices. Work is organized across four to five agile teams focused on specific product areas, offering ownership alongside close collaboration across teams. The role emphasizes creating new systems rather than maintaining legacy code, and includes opportunities to co-create solutions and architecture, develop and validate Proofs of Concept, contribute to technical decisions, and help shape a platform serving millions of users.

The Software Engineer designs and builds new features and solutions, creates technical spikes and Proofs of Concept, reviews code, and shares engineering practices. The role contributes to product architecture and technical direction while collaborating with developers, testers, business analysts, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters. It also involves supporting the team through technical knowledge, experience, and leadership.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of commercial experience with C# and .NET Core.
• Experience with AWS DevOps tools and CI/CD processes.
• Solid understanding of software design principles and patterns, such as SOLID and DDD, and clean-code practices.
• Experience creating tests, including unit and integration tests; component or contract testing is desirable.
• Practical experience with databases, such as SQL, MongoDB, NHibernate, Entity Framework, or Azure Storage.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as Angular 12+, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS; the project has a dedicated front-end developer.
• Experience designing new systems or working on greenfield projects.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of cloud solutions, especially AWS and Azure.
• Willingness to share knowledge, mentor other developers, and participate actively in technical discussions.
• Real-world experience with AI tools.

Responsibilities
