Software Engineer - C#/.Net
About The Position
Plasser American Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to join or lead a team developing the next generation of software for the Ultrasonic Rail Inspection market. The role involves understanding requirements and carrying out the full software development life cycle, including design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance. The engineer will architect and design a new product line, plan workflows and estimates, and develop and maintain software products. The position is full-time and on-site in New Milford, Connecticut. A bachelor's degree is desired but not required. Salary is based on experience.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a structured team.
- Experience with .NET, C#, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Experience with Team Foundation Server and/or Git.
- Ability to follow directions and multitask with a high sense of urgency.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- At least 3 years of application development experience.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree (desired but not required).
Responsibilities
- Architect and design a new product line.
