About The Position

General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) is hiring an Engineering Intern to work on technical projects supporting national defense services and high-stakes security missions. The intern will apply skills learned in the classroom while collaborating with technical teams and working closely with customers. The position offers the opportunity to build skills alongside experienced colleagues in a flexible work environment where contributions are recognized and rewarded. The role is within GDMS’s portfolio of high-technology defense and scientific solutions.

Requirements

Must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another related scientific or technical discipline.
Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Applicants selected must undergo a U.S. Government security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Nice To Haves

Standing of sophomore or higher is preferred.
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
