About The Position

General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) is hiring an Engineering Intern to work on projects supporting national defense services. The selected candidate will collaborate with teams on technical projects associated with GDMS’s mission and work closely with customers to develop solutions for national security missions. The role provides an opportunity to apply classroom-learned skills and develop professionally alongside technically accomplished colleagues in a flexible work environment where contributions are recognized and rewarded.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another related scientific or technical discipline.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to undergo a U.S. Government security investigation.

Nice To Haves

Sophomore standing or higher is preferred.
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
