About The Position
Applied Materials is seeking a Software Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 in Santa Clara, California. The intern will contribute to software projects by developing code, designing and implementing bug fixes, testing code and enhancements, documenting software, troubleshooting software problems of limited difficulty, and working with internal customers to analyze requirements. The position also involves compiling data for regularly scheduled or special reports, analyses, and statements. Candidates must have proficiency and experience in C/C++ and Python. Experience in areas such as embedded programming, PCBA debugging, and taking measurements with a digital multimeter (DMM) and oscilloscope is desired. Applicants should be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred. Requirements
- Proficiency and experience in C/C++.

- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
