About The Position
Applied Materials’ AGS System Engineering team is seeking a Summer 2027 intern to join the PCBA design team in Santa Clara. The intern will work on PCBA design and board reverse engineering, including debugging, simulation, and developing new board designs. The role also involves work with CPCI protocol for FPGA programming and circuit design, and designing PCBAs in OrCAD according to current design standards.
Requirements
- Be pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Have hands-on experience with microcontroller or FPGA programming.
- Be familiar with analog design and OrCAD or Altium.
- Have experience with PSpice or other circuit simulation software.
- Have board design and debugging experience.
- Be in good academic standing at the university.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.
Responsibilities
