2027 Summer Electrical Engineer Intern- Master's (Santa Clara, CA)
About The Position
Applied Materials’ AGS System Engineering team is seeking a Summer 2027 intern for its PCBA design team in Santa Clara, California. The intern will work on PCBA design and board reverse engineering, with a focus on board debugging, reverse engineering, design, and simulation of new designs. The role also includes working with CPCI protocol for FPGA programming and circuit design, and designing PCBAs in OrCAD according to current design standards. This is a full-time internship. Travel is expected 10% of the time, and relocation is available to eligible candidates. Requirements
- Be pursuing a master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Have hands-on experience with microcontroller or FPGA programming.
- Be familiar with analog design, OrCAD or Altium, PSpice or other circuit simulation software, and board design and debugging.
- Be in good academic standing at the university.
Nice To Haves
- A GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale is preferred.
