About The Position

Software engineering interns will assist BTG software engineering in developing software and firmware for new and sustaining product development or R&D while developing software engineering skills and gaining familiarity with BTG products and technologies. The primary responsibilities of software engineering interns are to develop software applications. Interns will be expected to contribute to any phase of development (requirements, design, construction, test/validation, and configuration/release management) and will work under the supervision of a BTG engineer who will serve as a mentor.

Requirements

Enrolled in Engineering BS program (electrical or software engineering preferred)
Basic competence with one or more programming languages (C/C++/C#, Java, Python, etc.).
Coursework or other experiences related to software development theory, practices, or languages.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with electrical test equipment (e.g. scopes and meters).
Familiarity with RF industry applications and instrumentation (e.g. VNA, Spectrum Analyzer).
Familiarity with Linux.
