About The Position

We are seeking a hands-on Salesforce engineer to design and deliver secure solutions. The engineer will be part of a team responsible for end-to-end technical execution, from design through production support, support architectural evaluations with internal and external partners, and help modernize platforms through automation, optimization, AI/LLM capabilities, and Agentforce.

The role involves using enterprise-authorized AI coding assistance and Software Development Life Cycle tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, productivity, and automation value. AI-generated outputs must be evaluated and validated through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding practices. The engineer will also contribute reusable patterns and learnings to improve team effectiveness.

Success means reliably delivering releases with measurable improvements in stability and performance, and building scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and integration standards.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools in a work environment for coding, test creation, troubleshooting, or documentation.
• Ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and resiliency and security expectations.
• At least 5 years of Salesforce development experience.
• Deep expertise in Agentforce and AI/LLM-related capabilities or use cases.
• Deep expertise in Apex.
• Deep expertise in Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Deep expertise in triggers and flows.
• Deep expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
• Deep expertise in REST APIs, web callouts, and integrations.
• Strong communication skills and executive presence, including the ability to explain technical details, end-to-end system behavior, and design decisions clearly.
• Proven experience handling large data volumes, performance tuning, and platform or application optimization.

Responsibilities

• Use enterprise-authorized AI coding assistance to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex deliverables, validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
• Apply knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle tools, including authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation.
• Design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions, breaking down complex technical problems using practical approaches.
• Build secure, production-grade code and review, debug, and improve code written by others.
• Identify recurring issues and implement elimination or automation strategies to improve application and system operational stability.
• Contribute learnings and reusable patterns to improve broader team effectiveness.
• Support architectural evaluations with internal and external partners.
• Contribute to communities of practice to promote awareness and adoption of emerging technologies across software engineering.
• Contribute to a team culture rooted in diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
• Guide peers on safe and effective AI-assisted engineering practices.
