About The Position

As a Business Banking iOS Developer, you will deliver secure, scalable, and intuitive mobile experiences that help businesses manage their finances and grow. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting native iOS applications, producing architecture and design artifacts, and using data insights to continually improve software quality and system architecture. You will use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools responsibly, validate their outputs, and share effective practices with the team.

Requirements

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot or code generation tools, and knowledge of integrating AI capabilities into development workflows.
• Hands-on use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools for coding, test creation, troubleshooting, or documentation, with the ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and resiliency and security expectations; ability to guide peers in safe and effective use.
• Applied experience in native mobile application development.
• Proficiency in Swift, including modern concurrency patterns such as async/await and Combine.
• Strong experience with UIKit, SwiftUI, Foundation, Core Data, and Combine, as well as object-oriented programming and design patterns including MVC, MVVM, Coordinator, and SOLID.
• Expertise writing XCTest unit tests and XCUITest UI tests, with a strong commitment to test-driven development.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and tools such as Bitrise, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions, and Git source control.
• Experience with modularization, dependency injection, and building reusable iOS SDKs or frameworks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience building or working with design systems, including UI development and white-labeling.
• Appreciation for accessibility and understanding of WCAG and Apple accessibility requirements.
• Practical cloud-native experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• An active GitHub or Stack Overflow profile, or a published app portfolio demonstrating technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Use enterprise-authorized AI coding assistants to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity; validate outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards, and share reusable patterns with the team.
• Apply software development life cycle tools, including authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value of automation.
• Design, develop, execute, and troubleshoot software solutions, including breaking down technical problems and considering approaches beyond routine solutions.
• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
• Implement testing strategies, including XCTest unit tests, XCUITest UI tests, and automated test suites.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure software development meets design constraints.
• Gather, analyze, synthesize, and visualize large, diverse data sets to support continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
• Identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use insights to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
